All That Is Alive Passes; All That Is Dead Remains, is Abergil’s most pared-down, enigmatic subject matter to date. In essence, she creates non-places, sites that simply disappear before the viewer’s eyes and trying to show the absence in them. Those sites are captured in a moment that still have the potential for life, for activity but at the same time the absence in them is salient.
